This series of paintings are paintings I did every day for a year, from 2019 through 2020. I painted 4 each morning. I call them my, “Hand in the game paintings”‘ because they allowed me to paint everyday in the midst of all that the world was experiencing. They didn’t require a great deal of thought nor the effort of larger works. The size varies, smallest being 4″x4″ and the largest, 6’x9”, they are acrylic on, 185# archival paper and were painted with a palette knife. Each painting is a landscape or skyscape I observed on daily walks.
